सौ से अधिक सीसीटीवी कैमरे की जांच करने के बाद आरोपी गिरफ्तार
नई दिल्ली। अशोक विहार थाना पुलिस ने महिला की हत्या की गुत्थी सुलझाने का दावा किया है। शनिवार को कूड़े के ढेर पर महिला का शव बोरे में बंद मिला था। पुलिस ने सौ से अधिक सीसीटीवी कैमरे की जांच करने के बाद आरोपी वजीरपुर सीएसए कालोनी निवासी केशव प्रसाद (50) की पहचान की और उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया। आरोपी ने खुलासा किया है कि महिला ने शारीरिक संबंध बनाने के लिए उससे दस हजार रुपये की मांग की और पैसे नहीं देने से पुलिस से शिकायत करने की धमकी देने लगी।
उत्तर पश्चिम जिला पुलिस उपायुक्त भीष्म सिंह ने बताया कि 22 फरवरी को पुलिस को अशोक विहार बी ब्लॉक शौचालय के पास बोरे में एक शव मिलने की जानकारी मिली। शव 22 साल की महिला की थी। पुलिस ने महिला के शरीर पर पाए गए छह टैटू के निशानों के जरिए उसकी पहचान मॉडल टाउन की रहने वाली के तौर पर की गई। पुलिस ने आरोपी की पहचान करने के लिए घटनास्थल और उसके आसपास के सौ से ज्यादा सीसीटीवी कैमरों की जांच की।
घटनास्थल के पास लगे एक सीसीटीवी कैमरे में संदिग्ध दिखा। उसके बाद पुलिस ने मुखबिरों के जरिए उसकी पहचान शुरू कर दी और आखिरकार पुलिस ने आरोपी की पहचान केशव प्रसाद के रूप में की और उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया। उस समय वह विजयवाड़ा भागने की कोशिश कर रहा था। जांच में पता चला कि केशव प्रसाद आजादपुर फल मंडी में मजदूरी करता था।
पूछताछ में उसने बताया कि वह 21 फरवरी की देर रात काम से घर आ रहा था। आजादपुर फ्लाईओवर के पास उसकी मुलाकात महिला से हुई। वह उसे लेकर घर आ गया, जहां दोनों ने खाना खाया। उसके बाद वह महिला से शारीरिक संबंध बनाने की कोशिश की। महिला ने इसके लिए उससे दस हजार रुपये की मांग करने लगी। पैसे नहीं देने पर पुलिस से शिकायत करने की धमकी देने लगी। इसी बात पर झगड़ा होने पर उसने गला घोंटकर उसकी हत्या कर दी और शव को बोरे में डालकर कूड़े के पास फेंक दिया।
पुलिस उपायुक्त ने बताया कि पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट आने के बाद ही महिला के साथ दुष्कर्म होने की पुष्टि होगी। पुलिस ने उसके निशानदेही पर मृतका का मोबाइल फोन बरामद कर लिया है।
