देहरादून। कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने आज निकाय चुनाव के दृष्टिगत लोकतंत्र के महापर्व मतदान दिवसर के अवसर पर मसूरी विधानसभा क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत देहरादून नगर निगम क्षेत्र के वार्ड नंबर 11 (विजय कॉलोनी ) बूथ संख्या 77, गुरुराम राय पब्लिक स्कूल कालीदास रोड़ में अपनी धर्मपत्नी निर्मला जोशी एवं परिवार के सदस्यों के साथ अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग कर लोगों को प्रेरित किया।
मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने मीडिया से बात करते हुए कहा कि लोकतंत्र को मजबूत बनाने के लिए हर नागरिक का मतदान करना अत्यंत आवश्यक है। उन्होंने ने कहा मतदान हमारा अधिकार ही नहीं, बल्कि कर्तव्य भी है। एक जागरूक मतदाता ही अपने राज्य और देश के उज्जवल भविष्य का निर्माण कर सकता है।” उन्होंने विशेष रूप से युवाओं और पहली बार मतदान करने वालों से बढ़-चढ़कर मतदान में हिस्सा लेने की अपील की। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री और राष्ट्रपति और एक आम नागरिक की वोट की ताकत एक बराबर है। उन्होंने कहा कि माहौल भाजपा मय है।
उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की निकाय चुनावों में प्रदेशभर में ताबड़तोड़ जनसभाओं ने निकाय चुनाव में प्रभावशाली रहा है। उन्होंने विश्वास जताते हुए कहा कि अधिकाशं नगर निगमों नगर पालिकाओं के चुनाव में भाजपा की की जीत निश्चित है। इस दौरान मंत्री ने मतदान केंद्र पर अन्य लोगों से बातचीत की और सभी को अपने मत का प्रयोग करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित भी किया।
