शिक्षक संघ ने कहा—सभी धर्मों का सम्मान जरूरी, किसी एक ग्रंथ को थोपना अनुचित
देहरादून। उत्तराखंड में प्रार्थना सभा के दौरान स्कूलों में भगवद गीता के श्लोक पढ़ाने के निर्देश का एससी-एसटी शिक्षक संघ ने विरोध किया है। संघ का कहना है कि यह कदम भारतीय संविधान की धर्मनिरपेक्ष भावना के खिलाफ है और शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में धार्मिक तटस्थता को कमजोर करता है।
शिक्षा निदेशक को सौंपा गया ज्ञापन
एससी-एसटी शिक्षक एसोसिएशन ने शिक्षा निदेशक को पत्र लिखते हुए इस निर्देश को तत्काल वापस लेने की मांग की है। एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष संजय कुमार टम्टा ने बताया कि संविधान के अनुच्छेद 28(1) के अनुसार, सरकारी सहायता प्राप्त संस्थानों में धार्मिक शिक्षा नहीं दी जा सकती। गीता जैसे धार्मिक ग्रंथों को प्रार्थना सभा में अनिवार्य रूप से पढ़ाना न केवल संविधान का उल्लंघन है, बल्कि इससे विद्यार्थियों के बीच भेदभाव की भावना भी पनप सकती है।
समावेशी शिक्षा पर असर
एसोसिएशन का तर्क है कि सरकारी स्कूलों में सभी धर्मों, जातियों और समुदायों के छात्र अध्ययन करते हैं, ऐसे में किसी एक धर्म विशेष के ग्रंथ को प्राथमिकता देना शिक्षा की समावेशी प्रकृति के विपरीत है। संघ ने कहा कि शिक्षा का उद्देश्य वैज्ञानिक सोच और समानता को बढ़ावा देना होना चाहिए, न कि धार्मिक मान्यताओं को थोपना।
निर्देश वापसी की मांग
शिक्षक संघ ने चेतावनी दी कि यदि इस आदेश को जल्द वापस नहीं लिया गया, तो वह राज्यव्यापी विरोध प्रदर्शन करने पर मजबूर होंगे। संघ ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि उनका उद्देश्य धार्मिक ग्रंथों का अपमान नहीं, बल्कि संविधान सम्मत और समावेशी शिक्षा प्रणाली की रक्षा करना है।
