सीएम धामी ने तय डेडलाइन से पहले काम पूरा करने को कहा, दोनों परियोजनाओं से लाखों लोगों को मिलेगा फायदा
देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शुक्रवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास में उच्च स्तरीय बैठक के दौरान अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि जमरानी बांध बहुद्देशीय परियोजना और सौंग बांध पेयजल परियोजना के कार्यों में और तेजी लाई जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि परियोजनाओं के तहत होने वाले कार्यों को चरणबद्ध तरीके से आगे बढ़ाया जाए। जमरानी बांध परियोजना के कार्यों को पूर्ण करने का लक्ष्य जून 2029 तक रखा गया है, मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को इसे दिसम्बर 2028 तक पूर्ण करने के निर्देश दिये हैं। सौंग बांध परियोजना को भी निर्धारित अवधि मार्च 2030 से पहले पूर्ण करने के निर्देश मुख्यमंत्री ने दिये हैं।
जमरानी बांध बहुद्देशीय परियोजना :
लगभग रू. 3808 करोड़ लागत की इस योजना के तहत 150.6 मी. ऊंचे बांध का निर्माण, 42.92 किमी लम्बी नहर का पुनर्निर्माण एवं 21.25 किमी लंबी नई नहर का निर्माण कार्य किया जाना है। इस परियोजना के तहत हल्द्वानी शहर एवं उसके समीपवर्ती क्षेत्रों की भविष्य की लगभग 10.50 लाख आबादी के लिए 117 एम.एल.डी. पेयजल की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित की जायेगी। इस परियोजना में बनने वाली 09 किमी. लम्बी झील से एक नया टूरिस्ट डेस्टिनेशन विकसित होगा तथा लगभग 57 हजार हेक्टेयर अतिरिक्त सिंचन क्षमता का सृजन होगा।
सौंग बांध पेयजल परियोजना :
लगभग रू. 2492 करोड़ लागत की इस योजना के तहत 130.60 मी. ऊंचे बांध का निर्माण एवं 1.5 मी. व्यास की 14.70 किमी. लम्बी जल वहन प्रणाली का निर्माण किया जाएगा। इसके अलावा 85 किमी. जल वितरण प्रणाली एवं 150 एम.एल.डी. जल शोधन संयंत्र का निर्माण भी इस परियोजना के तहत किया जाना है। इससे भविष्य में देहरादून शहर एवं उपनगरीय क्षेत्रों की वर्ष 2053 तक अनुमानित लगभग 10.65 लाख की जनसंख्या के लिए 150 एम.एल.डी. ग्रेविटी से पेयजल आपूर्ति की व्यवस्था की जाएगी। इस बांध निर्माण से बनने वाली 3.5 किमी. लम्बी झील को एक नया टूरिस्ट डेस्टिनेशन के रूप में विकसित किया जायेगा।
बैठक में प्रमुख सचिव आर.के.सुधांशु, सचिव एस.एन.पाण्डेय, युगल किशोर पंत, अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक ए.पी. अंशुमन एवं अपर सचिव बंशीधर तिवारी मौजूद थे।
