हरिद्वार ने जीती राज्य स्तरीय अंडर 17 बालक हॉकी प्रतियोगिता
खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने विजेता खिलाड़ियों को किया सम्मानित
हल्द्वानी। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ओलंपिक दिवस के उपलक्ष में आयोजित राज्य स्तरीय अंडर 17 बालक हॉकी प्रतियोगिता हरिद्वार ने जीत ली है। बुधवार को खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने हल्द्वानी स्पोर्ट्स स्टेडियम में विजेताओं को सम्मानित किया।
कार्यक्रम की मुख्य अतिथि खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि पहले खेल को उपेक्षा की नजर से देखा जाता था लेकिन अब युवा बड़ी संख्या में इसे करियर विकल्प के रूप में चुन रहे हैं। खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार ने आउट ऑफ टर्न सरकारी नौकरी, खिलाड़ी प्रोत्साहन योजना, नौकरियों में पदक विजेताओं को 4% आरक्षण जैसी योजनाओं के जरिए खिलाड़ियों को प्रोत्साहित करने का काम किया है।
खेल मंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड को सैन्य भूमि के साथ खेल भूमि बनाने की दिशा में सरकार ने जरूरी बुनियादी काम कर दिए हैं और अब इस लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने की जिम्मेदारी खिलाड़ियों के युवा कंधों को उठानी होगी।
खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने प्रतियोगिता में पहले तीन स्थानों पर रही टीमों हरिद्वार, पिथौरागढ़ और टनकपुर के खिलाड़ियों को ट्रॉफी एवं पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया।
इस अवसर पर भाजपा जिला अध्यक्ष प्रताप बिष्ट, मंडल अध्यक्ष मधुकर श्रोतिय, दर्जा धारी राज्य मंत्री नवीन वर्मा, सुरेश पांडे, हरीश मनराल, रविन्द्र वाली, हेम पाण्डेय, राहुल आर्य, रेवाधर बृजवासी आदि उपस्थित रहे।
