वाहन की गति को मापने के लिए अब रडार सिस्टम का किया जाएगा इस्तेमाल
नई दिल्ली। बढ़ती सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को कम करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार ने बड़ा कदम उठाया है। सड़क सुरक्षा को और मजबूत करने के लिए और ट्रैफिक की दिक्कतों को कम करने के लिए नया उपकरण लाया गया है। वाहन की गति को मापने के लिए अब रडार सिस्टम का इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा। सरकार ने विधिक माप विज्ञान (सामान्य) नियम, 2011 के अंतर्गत वाहनों की गति मापने वाले रडार के लिए नियम अधिसूचित किए हैं। इसे एक जुलाई से लागू किया जाएगा
उपभोक्ता मामलों के मंत्रालय ने बयान में कहा कि नए नियम लागू होने से उद्योगों और प्रवर्तन एजेंसियों को प्रावधानों का अनुपालन करने के लिए पर्याप्त समय मिलेगा। ये सड़कों पर वाहनों की गति मापने के लिए व्यापक रूप से उपयोग किए जाने वाले ‘माइक्रोवेव डॉपलर रडार उपकरण’ पर लागू होंगे। ये नियम विस्तृत तकनीकी और सुरक्षा जरूरतों का पूरा करते हैं। ऐसे उपायों से प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वसनीयता और कानूनी जवाबदेही को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
नए ढांचे के अनुसार सभी गति मापक उपकरणों को सत्यापन से गुजरना होगा और तैनाती से पहले आधिकारिक सत्यापन और मुहर हासिल करनी होगी। इस प्रक्रिया का उद्देश्य गति और दूरी माप के लिए सटीक आंकड़ों की गारंटी देना है, जो यातायात कानून लागू करने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। इन नियमों के कार्यान्वयन से सभी पक्षों को कई लाभ मिलेंगे।
