देहरादून। महिला सशक्तिकरण एवं बाल विकास मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने रविवार को असहाय बच्चों के साथ बसंतोत्सव का लुत्फ लिया।
कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या रविवार को राजकीय बालिका निकेतन केदारपुरम के 30 से ज्यादा बच्चों के साथ राजभवन पहुंची थी। यह बालिका निकेतन महिला सशक्तिकरण एवं बाल विकास विभाग के अंतर्गत ही संचालित है। इस मौके पर रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि विभागीय मंत्री होने के नाते वे ही इन बच्चों की अभिभावक हैं इसलिए रविवार को इन बच्चों को वसंतोत्सव का भ्रमण कराया गया और इनकी पिकनिक करायी।
मंत्री ने कहा कि जिस तरह आम लोग भारी संख्या में वसंतोत्सव में आ रहे हैं वह इस कार्यक्रम की लोकप्रियता को दिखाता है। मंत्री और बच्चों ने राजभवन में चल रहे सांस्कृतिक नृत्य में भी हिस्सा लिया। वसंतोत्सव में कई स्थानों पर सेल्फी प्वाइंट बनाए गए हैं, इन सभी पॉइंट पर बच्चों ने मंत्री के साथ सेल्फी भी ली।
इस अवसर पर मुख्य परिवीक्षा अधिकारी मोहित चौधरी, जिला प्रोबेशन अधिकारी मीना बिष्ट, उप मुख्य परिवीक्षा अधिकारी अंजना गुप्ता आदि मौजूद रहे।

महिला सशक्तिकरण एवं बाल विकास मंत्री रेखा आर्या रविवार को असहाय बच्चों के अभिभावक के साथ-साथ उनकी गाइड की भूमिका में भी नजर आई। उन्होंने करीब 2 घंटे तक एक-एक स्टॉल पर जाकर बालिका निकेतन के बच्चों को फूलों की विभिन्न प्रजातियों के बारे में जानकारी दी। भ्रमण के अलावा इस मौके पर बच्चों को जलपान भी कराया गया।
