देहरादून। उत्तराखंड प्रदेश महिला कांग्रेस की अध्यक्ष ज्योति रौतेला के नेतृत्व में आज धर्मपुर विधानसभा क्षेत्र की बदहाल सड़कों, टूटी नालियों और ओवरफ्लो हो रहे सीवर की गंभीर समस्याओं को लेकर लोक निर्माण कार्यालय निकट कारगी कबाड़ी बाजार धर्मपुर का घेराव, तालाबंदी कर ज्ञापन सौंपा गया।
ज्ञापन में उल्लेख किया गया कि ब्राह्मण वाला, दून यूनिवर्सिटी मार्ग, बंजारावाला, मथुरावाला, केदारपुर, दीपनगर और आईएसबीटी की आंतरिक सड़कों सहित कई वार्डों में सड़कें गड्ढों में तब्दील हो चुकी हैं। इन हालातों के कारण आए दिन दुर्घटनाएं हो रही हैं, जिससे आमजन का जीवन संकट में है। वहीं टूटी नालियों और ओवरफ्लो सीवर के कारण जलभराव, गंदगी और बदबू ने स्थानीय निवासियों का जीना दूभर कर दिया है।
ज्योति रौतेला ने कहा, यहां के स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधि विधायक जी ने धर्मपुर विधानसभा की सड़कों पर बिल्कुल भी ध्यान नहीं दिया और जिन सड़कों में थोड़ा काम भी हुआ गुणवत्ता विहीन हुआ है यह केवल विकास की विफलता नहीं, बल्कि जनता की सुरक्षा के साथ खिलवाड़ है। महिलाओं, बच्चों और बुजुर्गों को सबसे अधिक परेशानी हो रही है। अगर विभाग ने तत्काल प्रभाव से कार्यवाही नहीं की, तो महिला कांग्रेस जनहित में उग्र आंदोलन के लिए बाध्य होगी।
महिला कांग्रेस ने विभाग से मांग की है धर्मपुर विधानसभा की समस्त क्षतिग्रस्त सड़कों की तत्काल मरम्मत की जाए, नालियों की सफाई और पुनर्निर्माण हो, ओवरफ्लो सीवर की समस्या का स्थायी समाधान किया जाए, नियमित निरीक्षण और रखरखाव की व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित की जाए
महिला कांग्रेस ने स्पष्ट किया है कि यदि समस्याओं को नजरअंदाज किया गया, तो क्षेत्रीय जनता के साथ मिलकर आंदोलन को और तेज किया जाएगा। इस मौके पर प्रदेश महिला कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष आशा मनोरमा शर्मा, महासचिव पुष्पा पंवार, महासचिव सुशीला शर्मा, ब्लॉक अध्यक्ष ललित बद्री, नवीन छेत्री, आदर्श, बबलू पंवार, आलोक मेहता,लीला रावत, मोहन गुरुंग, पुनीत चौधरी शाहिद जमाल अहमद, तेग बहादुर समेत दर्जनों कांग्रेसी कार्यकर्ता मौजूद रहे।
