उत्तराखंड में सैन्य और नागरिक प्रशासन के बीच समन्वय बढ़ाने पर हुआ विचार-विमर्श
देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी से मुख्यमंत्री कैंप कार्यालय में भारतीय सेना की मध्य कमान के जनरल ऑफिसर कमांडिंग-इन-चीफ लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल अनिंद्य सेनगुप्ता (UYSM, AVSM, YSM) ने शिष्टाचार भेंट की। इस दौरान राज्य के सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में सैन्य एवं नागरिक प्रशासन के बीच बेहतर समन्वय स्थापित करने को लेकर विचार-विमर्श हुआ।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि भारतीय सेना न केवल देश की एकता, संप्रभुता और अखंडता की रक्षा में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रही है, बल्कि नागरिक समाज के साथ समन्वय स्थापित कर विकासात्मक कार्यों में भी सक्रिय सहभागिता कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि सीमावर्ती राज्य उत्तराखंड में सेना द्वारा स्थानीय समुदायों की सहायता हेतु विभिन्न सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्वों का सफलतापूर्वक निर्वहन किया जा रहा है। इसके साथ ही, प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के समय सेना द्वारा राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों में जो सराहनीय सहयोग प्रदान किया जाता है, वह अत्यंत प्रशंसनीय है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने भारतीय सेना के योगदान के प्रति आभार व्यक्त करते हुए आश्वस्त किया कि राज्य सरकार, सेना की सभी महत्वपूर्ण पहलों में पूर्ण सहयोग प्रदान करती रहेगी। लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल अनिंद्य सेनगुप्ता ने मुख्यमंत्री को सीमांत क्षेत्रों के समग्र विकास हेतु मध्य कमान द्वारा संचालित कार्यक्रमों की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि भारतीय सेना, सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के साथ-साथ सामाजिक विकास हेतु भी पूरी प्रतिबद्धता के साथ कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि सीमांत क्षेत्रों में बुनियादी ढांचे के विकास, सामुदायिक सहभागिता, युवाओं के साथ संवाद और अग्रिम क्षेत्रों में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए कई महत्वपूर्ण पहल की गई हैं।
