मीनाक्षी लेखी यात्रा के दूसरे दल के साथ कैलाश मानसरोवर के पवित्र मार्ग पर थीं। यात्रा के दौरान शनिवार को तिब्बत के दारचिन में वह घोड़े से गिर गईं, जिससे उन्हें गंभीर चोट लगी। घटना के तुरंत बाद उन्हें पास के मेडिकल सेंटर ले जाया गया, जहां एक्स-रे रिपोर्ट में रीढ़ की हड्डी में चोट की पुष्टि हुई।
रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन शुरू, मौसम बना चुनौती
सूत्रों के अनुसार, रविवार को उन्हें वाहन के जरिए लिपुलेख तक लाया जाएगा, जहां से पैदल या स्ट्रेचर के माध्यम से नाभीढांग पहुंचाया जाएगा। इसके बाद मौसम अनुकूल रहने पर उन्हें हेलीकॉप्टर से देहरादून लाने की योजना है।
हालांकि, सीमांत धारचूला क्षेत्र में भारी बारिश के चलते मौसम रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन में बड़ी चुनौती बनकर उभरा है। यदि मौसम खराब रहा, तो हेलीकॉप्टर से उड़ान भरना और नाभीढांग तक पहुंचना मुश्किल हो सकता है। प्रशासन और स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीमें अलर्ट मोड पर हैं।
