डाबर च्यवनप्राश की छवि खराब करने के आरोप पर हाईकोर्ट ने लगाई रोक
नई दिल्ली — दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने पतंजलि आयुर्वेद को डाबर च्यवनप्राश के खिलाफ कथित अपमानजनक विज्ञापन चलाने से तत्काल प्रभाव से रोक लगा दी है। न्यायमूर्ति मिनी पुष्करणा की एकल पीठ ने डाबर की ओर से दाखिल याचिका पर सुनवाई करते हुए अंतरिम आदेश जारी किया।
डाबर की याचिका में आरोप लगाया गया था कि पतंजलि का “स्पेशल च्यवनप्राश” विज्ञापन न सिर्फ उनके उत्पाद बल्कि सभी अन्य ब्रांड्स के च्यवनप्राश को “साधारण” और “गैर-प्रामाणिक” दिखाने का प्रयास कर रहा है। याचिकाकर्ता का कहना है कि विज्ञापन में यह दावा किया गया है कि “किसी अन्य निर्माता को च्यवनप्राश बनाने का ज्ञान नहीं है”, जो सीधे तौर पर डाबर सहित अन्य कंपनियों की प्रतिष्ठा को नुकसान पहुंचाता है।
डाबर की ओर से पेश अधिवक्ता जवाहर लाला और मेघना कुमार ने दलील दी कि पतंजलि के विज्ञापन में किए गए दावे न केवल भ्रामक हैं, बल्कि आयुर्वेदिक औषधियों को लेकर उपभोक्ताओं में गलतफहमी पैदा कर सकते हैं। अदालत ने इस मामले की अगली सुनवाई 14 जुलाई को तय की है।
पुराने विवादों का सिलसिला
यह पहला मौका नहीं है जब पतंजलि भ्रामक विज्ञापन को लेकर अदालत के घेरे में आई हो। अगस्त 2022 में इंडियन मेडिकल एसोसिएशन (IMA) ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका दायर कर आरोप लगाया था कि पतंजलि कोविड समेत अन्य बीमारियों के इलाज के झूठे दावे कर रही है।
नवंबर 2023 में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पतंजलि को भ्रामक प्रचार पर रोक लगाने का आदेश दिया था, लेकिन इसके बावजूद कंपनी ने विज्ञापन प्रसारण जारी रखा। फरवरी 2024 में कोर्ट ने सख्त रुख अपनाते हुए बाबा रामदेव और आचार्य बालकृष्ण को व्यक्तिगत रूप से तलब किया। मार्च-अप्रैल में अवमानना की चेतावनी के बाद अंततः 2025 में दोनों ने माफीनामा दाखिल किया, जिसके बाद मामला समाप्त हुआ।
शरबत विवाद में भी अदालत की फटकार
इससे पहले भी दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने बाबा रामदेव की ‘शरबत जिहाद’ संबंधी टिप्पणी पर कड़ी नाराजगी जताई थी। हमदर्द कंपनी के शरबत को लेकर की गई विवादित टिप्पणी के चलते कोर्ट ने उन्हें भविष्य में ऐसे किसी भी बयान या वीडियो से बचने का निर्देश दिया था। कोर्ट ने टिप्पणी की थी कि “रामदेव किसी के नियंत्रण में नहीं हैं और अपनी ही दुनिया में रहते हैं।”
