पांच जिलों में मॉक ड्रिल कर आपात तैयारियों का किया गया परीक्षण
देहरादून। उत्तराखंड में बाढ़ आपदा से निपटने की तैयारियों को परखने के लिए राज्य के पांच जिलों — हरिद्वार, ऊधमसिंहनगर, नैनीताल, चंपावत और देहरादून — में मॉक ड्रिल का आयोजन किया गया। इस अभ्यास में आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग, जिला प्रशासन, एसडीआरएफ, एनडीआरएफ, लोक निर्माण विभाग (PWD) सहित कई संबंधित एजेंसियों ने सक्रिय भागीदारी की।
राज्य आपातकालीन परिचालन केंद्र से सचिव आपदा प्रबंधन विनोद कुमार सुमन ने ड्रिल का निरीक्षण किया और व्यवस्थाओं की समीक्षा की। देहरादून में मॉक ड्रिल के दौरान बाढ़ की स्थिति में एक मकान गिरने की काल्पनिक घटना के आधार पर राहत और बचाव कार्यों का परीक्षण किया गया।
देहरादून के एसडीएम हरि गिरि ने बताया कि जिला प्रशासन आपदा के हर संभावित खतरे के लिए तैयार है, खासकर बाढ़ जैसे हालात से निपटने के लिए पर्याप्त इंतजाम किए गए हैं।
