देहरादून। जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल की अध्यक्षता में ऋषिपर्णा सभागार में एक अहम बैठक आयोजित की गई, जिसमें शहर की मलिन बस्तियों, विशेषकर बिंदाल और रिस्पना नदी किनारे बसी बस्तियों के पुनर्वास और विस्थापन को लेकर गहन चर्चा हुई। जिलाधिकारी ने नगर निगम और एमडीडीए को प्रभावी कार्ययोजना बनाकर कार्य शुरू करने के निर्देश दिए।
जिलाधिकारी ने स्पष्ट किया कि वर्ष 2016 से पहले और बाद बसी बस्तियों की पहचान कर 5 दिन के भीतर अद्यतन सूची प्रस्तुत की जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री की मंशा है कि सभी नागरिकों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण जीवन मिले और राजधानी को स्लम मुक्त बनाया जाए।
उन्होंने अधिकारियों से कहा कि झुग्गी-झोपड़ियों को हटाकर वहां निवास कर रहे परिवारों को सुरक्षित और गरिमामय जीवन देने के लिए पुनर्वास की ठोस योजना तैयार की जाए। उन्होंने यह भी निर्देश दिया कि पुनर्वास स्थलों की भूमि की पहचान शीघ्र की जाए।
डीएम बंसल ने कहा कि स्लम हमारी संवेदनहीनता और लापरवाही का परिणाम हैं, और इन्हें सुधारने की जिम्मेदारी हमारी ही है। उन्होंने सभी विभागों को चेताया कि अब बहानों का समय नहीं है – जमीन, अधिकार क्षेत्र या कानूनी जटिलताओं को लेकर कोई देरी बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी।
उन्होंने बताया कि रिस्पना और बिंदाल नदियों के किनारे प्रस्तावित एलिवेटेड कॉरिडोर परियोजना के लिए सीवर, हाईटेंशन लाइन आदि का विस्थापन और नदी सौंदर्यीकरण कार्य भी जल्द शुरू किया जाएगा।
बैठक में अपर जिलाधिकारी के.के. मिश्रा, नगर आयुक्त हेमंत कुमार वर्मा, नगर मजिस्ट्रेट प्रत्युष सिंह सहित कई विभागीय अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
