राज्य में विमानन क्षेत्र के विकास, हवाई कनेक्टिविटी में सुधार के विषय में की गई विस्तृत चर्चा
देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मंगलवार को केन्द्रीय नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री किंजरापु राममोहन नायडू से भेंट की। बैठक में राज्य में विमानन क्षेत्र के विकास, हवाई कनेक्टिविटी में सुधार, और उत्तराखण्ड के पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के विषय में विस्तृत चर्चा की गई।
मुख्यमंत्री ने जानकारी दी कि पन्तनगर एयरपोर्ट की रनवे लम्बाई को 1,372 मीटर से बढ़ाकर 3,000 मीटर किये जाने के लिये उत्तराखण्ड सरकार द्वारा भारतीय विमानपत्तन प्राधिकरण को कुल 524.78 एकड़ भूमि हस्तांतरित कर दी गयी। भारतीय विमानपत्तन प्राधिकरण द्वारा पन्तनगर एयरपोर्ट का मास्टर प्लान तैयार किया गया है। उन्होनें केन्द्रीय मंत्री से भारतीय विमानपत्तन प्राधिकरण को तत्वरित कार्य प्रारंभ करने का अनुरोध किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने केन्द्रीय नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री से जौलीग्रान्ट एयरपोर्ट के विस्तारीकरण और रात्रि कालीन ऑपरेशन संचालन को मध्यरात्रि तक बढ़ाने का अनुरोध किया। सरकार के इस कदम से अधिक यात्रियों को हवाई सेवाओं को लाभ मिल सकेगा।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि क्षेत्रीय सम्पर्क योजना के अर्न्तगत नैनीसैनी एयरपोर्ट (पिथौरागढ़) से इन्दिरागाँधी अन्तरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डा (नई दिल्ली) के लिए (आरसीएस उड़ान) के अर्न्तगत नियमित वायुयान सेवा प्रारंभ करने का अनुरोध किया। जिससे स्थानीय लोगों को फायदा होगा। साथ ही आरसीएस उड़ान स्वीकृति से पिथौरागढ़ से धारचूला एवं पिथौरागढ़ से मुनस्यारी के लिए हवाई सेवा आरम्भ करने से स्थानीय लोगों को आवागमन में काफी सुविधा होगी।
उन्होंने कहा कि नैनी सैनी एयरपोर्ट पर रात्रिकालीन ऑपरेशन संचालन के दृष्टिगत एयरपोर्ट के वॉच एक्सटेंशन को बढ़ा दिया जाये जिससे अधिक यात्री वायुयान सेवा का लाभ ले सकेगें। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि पिथौरागढ़ उत्तराखण्ड का एक दूरस्थ जनपद है, जहाँ स्थानीय लोगों के आवागमन के लिए हवाई सम्पर्क मार्ग अत्यन्त उपयोगी होगी। पिथौरागढ़ जनपद की सीमा तिब्बत (चीन) एवं नेपाल से लगी होने के कारण सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से भी काफी संवेदनशील है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने केन्द्रीय उड्डयन मंत्री से देहरादून, पिथौरागढ़ और पंतनगर हवाई अड्डों पर ‘हाउस ऑफ हिमालयाज’ स्टॉल खोले जाने का अनुरोध किया है, ताकि स्थानीय उत्पादों को प्रोत्साहन मिल सके। इसके साथ ही मुख्यमंत्री ने देहरादून-हल्द्वानी, देहरादून-पंतनगर और देहरादून-नागपुर के लिए सीधी हवाई सेवाएं शुरू करने तथा जॉलीग्रांट एयरपोर्ट (देहरादून) से अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई सेवाएं प्रारंभ किए जाने का भी आग्रह किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने चिन्यालीसौड़ और गौचर हवाई पट्टी का निरीक्षण कर हवाई सेवा का संचलान किये जाने हेतु कार्यवाही प्रारंभ करने का केन्द्रीय मंत्री से अनुरोध किया।
केन्द्रीय नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री किंजरापु राममोहन नायडू ने सभी प्रस्तावों पर सकारात्मक कार्यवाही का आश्वासन दिया।
