कैबिनेट मंत्री ने अंबेडकर जयंती की पूर्व बेला पर पदयात्रा का नेतृत्व किया
देहरादून। बाबा साहब भीमराव अंबेडकर जयंती की पूर्व बेला पर रविवार को कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने स्कूली बच्चों के साथ भीम पदयात्रा निकाली। पवेलियन ग्राउंड से घंटाघर तक की पदयात्रा में कई स्कूल कॉलेज के सैकड़ो छात्र छात्रा शामिल हुए।
पदयात्रा का शुभारंभ करते हुए पवेलियन ग्राउंड में कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि बाबा भीमराव अंबेडकर मानवता धर्म के सबसे बड़े प्रवर्तक और समाज सुधारक थे। उन्होंने हर जाति, धर्म, समाज के मानव मात्र के जीवन की गरिमा को स्थापित करने के लिए संघर्ष किया।
रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि बाबा भीमराव अंबेडकर को एक समय सामाजिक कुरीतियों के चलते पढ़ाई से वंचित करने का प्रयास किया गया, लेकिन अपनी दृढ़ इच्छा शक्ति के बल पर वह दुनिया के जाने-माने कानूनविद और अर्थशास्त्री बने। उन्होंने छात्रों से अंबेडकर के जीवन से प्रेरणा लेने का आह्वान किया। कैबिनेट मंत्री ने कहा कि देश का युवा अंबेडकर के जीवन से प्रेरणा लेकर स्वयं को राष्ट्र, समाज, न्याय और संविधानवाद की राह में समर्पित करें। इस अवसर पर मंत्री ने स्कूल और कॉलेज के छात्रों को न्याय, अहिंसा, समता और सामाजिक सुधार को अपनाने की सीख दी।
इस अवसर पर खेल निदेशक प्रशांत आर्य व अन्य अधिकारी और कॉलेज एवं स्कूली छात्र उपस्थित रहे।
