मोबाइल नंबर बंद तो नहीं मिलेंगी यूपीआई की सेवाएं
नई दिल्ली। नेशनल पेमेंट्स कॉरपोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (एनपीसीआई) ने यूपीआई लेनदेन की सुरक्षा और प्रभावशीलता बढ़ाने के लिए नए नियम जारी किए हैं। यह नियम एक अप्रैल से लागू हो रहे हैं। इसके मुताबिक, अगर आप अपने मोबाइल नंबर का 90 दिनों तक इस्तेमाल नहीं करते हैं, तो दूरसंचार कंपनी वह नंबर किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति को दे सकती है।
इसका मतलब है कि अगर आपने पुराने मोबाइल नंबर से यूपीआई लिंक किया है और वह नंबर बंद हो गया है, तो आपकी यूपीआई आईडी भी काम नहीं करेगी। यानी आप यूपीआई सेवाओं का इस्तेमाल नहीं कर पाएंगे। एक अप्रैल से बैंक और यूपीआई एप ग्राहकों के मोबाइल नंबर रिकॉर्ड को सप्ताह में कम-से-कम एक बार जांचेंगे और अपडेट करेंगे, ताकि बदले गए मोबाइल नंबरों के कारण गलत लेनदेन न हो।
यूपीआई यूजर्स को करने होंगे ये काम
बैंक में अपना मोबाइल नंबर अपडेट करें ताकि यूपीआई सेवाएं चालू रहें।
अगर हाल ही में नंबर बदला है, तो जल्द बैंक में नया नंबर रजिस्टर करें।
बैंक रजिस्टर्ड नंबर का इस्तेमाल करते रहें ताकि वह निष्क्रिय न ही और यूपीआई सेवाएं प्रभावित न हो।
एनपीसीआई ने धोखाधड़ी को कम करने के लिए हाल ही में कलेक्ट पेमेंट फीचर को हटाने की प्रक्रिया शुरू की है। अब यह फीचर सर्फ बड़े और वेरिफाइड व्यापारियों तक सीमित रहेगा। व्यक्तिगत लेनदेन में इसकी सीमा 2,000 रुपये कर दी जाएगी।
