देहरादून/अहमदाबाद। चिकित्सा स्वास्थ्य एवं चिकित्सा शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने अपने गुजरात भ्रमण के दौरान अहमदाबाद में यू.एन. मेहता इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ कार्डियोलॉजी एंड रिसर्च सेंटर तथा बी.जे. मेडिकल कॉलेज का दौरा किया। जहां उन्होंने चिकित्सा संस्थानों के प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक कर शैक्षणिक, प्रशासनिक व स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के बारे में विस्तृत चर्चा की। उन्होंने कहा कि यू.एन. मेहता इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ कार्डियोलॉजी एंड रिसर्च सेंटर की मदद से प्रदेश के मेडिकल कॉलेजों में बाल हृदय रोगियों के उपचार के लिये विशेष व्यवस्था की जायेगी।
अहमदाबाद के राजकीय प्रवास के दौरान स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने आज प्रतिष्ठित यू.एन. मेहता इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ कार्डियोलॉजी एंड रिसर्च सेंटर का भ्रमण किया। जहां उन्होंने अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक कर संस्थान के चिकित्सकीय एवं प्रशासनिक व्यवस्थाओं के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी ली। इस दौरान अस्पताल प्रबंधन ने पावर प्वांइट प्रस्तुति के माध्यम से हृदय रोग देखभाल, उपचार सेवाओं और नवीनतम चिकित्सा प्रणालियों के बारे में जानकारी दी।
डॉ. रावत ने बताया पीडियाट्रिक कार्डियोवैस्कुलर सिस्टम के उपचार में यह चिकित्सा संस्थान अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अपनी अलग पहचान बना चुका है। जहां प्रत्येक वर्ष विभिन्न देशों से सैकड़ों हृदय रोगी उपचार के लिये आते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखंड के राजकीय मेडिकल कॉलेजों में भी इसी स्तर की बाल हृदय चिकित्सा सुविधाएं विकसित की जायेंगी, जिससे नवजातों में हृदय रोग की समय पर पहचान और उपचार संभव हो सके। इसके लिये यू.एन. मेहता इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ कार्डियोलॉजी एंड रिसर्च सेंटर की मदद से एक ठोस कार्ययोजना बनाकर उत्तराखंड के राजकीय मेडिकल कॉलेजों में भी बाल हृदय रोगियों के उपचार की व्यवस्था की जायेगी।
डॉ. रावत ने इसके उपरांत बी.जे. मेडिकल कॉलेज का दौरा किया। जहां उन्होंने विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सकों, मेडिकल स्टॉफ और छात्र-छात्राओं से मुलाकात कर कॉलेज की शिक्षा प्रणाली, स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं और चिकित्सा क्षेत्र में हो रहे नवाचारों को लेकर विस्तृत चर्चा की। उन्होंने सिविल अस्पताल का भी दौरा किया और मरीजों को दी जा रही स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं के बारे में जानकारी ली। अस्पताल भ्रमण के दौरान डॉ. रावत ने मरीजों व उनके तीमारदारों से मिलकर उनके अनुभवों के बारे में जानकारी ली। डॉ. रावत ने बताया कि अहमदाबाद का सिविल अस्पताल अंग दान के क्षेत्र में देशभर में अग्रणी है और यहां चिकित्सा सेवाएं अत्यधिक उन्नत है।
