राज्य सरकार बालिका एवं महिला सशक्तिकरण के लिए कर रही कार्य – मुख्यमंत्री धामी
देहरादून/खटीमा। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने खटीमा में गौरी शंकर महादेव मंदिर, भ्रह्म कालोनी एंव आरपी पब्लिक स्कूल, मेलघाट रोड में महाशिवरात्रि के अवसर पर सामूहिक विवाह कार्यक्रम में शामिल होकर नव दम्पतियों को आशीर्वाद व बधाई देते हुए उनके नव दाम्पत्य जीवन के लिए शुभकामनाएं दी। इस दौरान दोनों स्थानों पर कुल 50 जोड़ो का विवाह सम्पन्न हुआ। मुख्यमंत्री ने नव दम्पतियों को उनके सुखमय वैवाहिक जीवन के शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि कन्यादान को हमारे समाज व संस्कृति में महादान की संज्ञा दी गई है। उन्हें भी एक अभिभावक के रूप में विवाह में शामिल होने का अवसर मिला यह सौभाग्य की बात है। उन्होंने कहा खटीमा एक बगीचा है जिसमे सभी समुदाय के लोग प्रेम भाव से रहते हैं। यह एक लघु भारत का स्वरूप लगता है, इसी भावना का उदाहरण यह सामूहिक विवाह भी है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा बेटियां दो-दो घरों को रोशन करती हैं। बेटियों के सशक्त होने से राष्ट्र सशक्त होता है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार बालिका एवं महिला सशक्तिकरण के लिए कार्य कर रही है। राज्य सरकार ने सभी नौकरियों में महिलाओं को 30% क्षैतिज आरक्षण दिया है। जिससे राज्य में महिलाओं को आगे बढ़ाने का काम हो रहा है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के मार्गदर्शन में प्रदेश में 38 वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों का सफल आयोजन हुआ। इन खेलों के आयोजन की चारों ओर प्रसंशा मिल रही है। जिसके लिए उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री का आभार व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय खेलों में मेडल तालिका में हम 25वें स्थान से 7 वें स्थान पर आएं है। जिसमें बेटियों ने अधिक मैडल जीतकर हमे गौरवान्वित किया है।
