खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्य ने शूटिंग की, व्यवस्थाओं का जायजा लिया
7 फरवरी से नेशनल गेम की शॉटगन इवेंट होगी
रुद्रपुर। प्रदेश में जुटाई जा रही नई खेल सुविधाओं की माला में बुधवार को एक मोती और जुड़ गया। खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने 46वी वाहिनी पीएसी रुद्रपुर में नवनिर्मित शूटिंग रेंज का निरीक्षण करके बताया कि रेंज एकदम तैयार हो गई है। नेशनल गेम की शॉटगन और स्कीट स्पर्धा के लिए रुद्रपुर की 46 पीएससी वाहिनी का चयन किया गया था। इसके लिए शूटिंग रेंज बनने में तकरीबन तीन से चार महीने का समय लगता है। लेकिन रुद्रपुर में दिन रात काम करके शूटिंग रेंज को 40 दिन के भीतर तैयार कर दिया गया है। इस अवसर पर खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या को बताया गया कि यहां यूपीएस और जैनरेटर सेट की आवश्यकता है। खेल मंत्री ने इसके लिए डीएम और विभागीय अधिकारियों को 1 घंटे के अंदर इसकी स्वीकृति देकर व्यवस्था करने के निर्देश दिए ।
इस मौके पर खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि इस शूटिंग रेंज में हमारे नेशनल गेम की शॉट गन और स्कीट इवेंट का आयोजन होना है। रुद्रपुर के साइकलिंग वैलोड्रोम की तरह यह खेल अवस्थापना भी बेहद खास है, क्योंकि इसके पहले शायद उत्तराखंड में इस तरह का इवेंट पहले नहीं आयोजित हुआ है।
खेल मंत्री ने कहा कि बहुत शॉर्ट नोटिस पर जिस तरह हमने दिन-रात काम करके रिकॉर्ड 40 दिन के अंदर इस शूटिंग रेंज को तैयार किया है, उसकी सराहना इस इवेंट के डीओसी महोदय ने भी मुक्त कंठ से की। रेखा आर्या ने बताया कि तकनीकी तौर पर काफी जटिल इस शूटिंग रेंज का निर्माण इतना अहम काम था कि उन्होंने निर्माण के दौरान कुल मिलाकर तीन बार निरीक्षण करके काम की प्रगति पर लगातार नजर रखी इंटरनेशनल और अर्जुन अवार्डी शूटर्स समेत खिलाड़ियों ने इस रेंज में अभ्यास बुधवार को ही शुरू कर दिया है। उनके साथ खेल मंत्री ने भी शूटिंग करने का रोमांचक अनुभव लिया। इस मौके पर डीओसी अशोक मित्तल, उपनिदेशक शक्ति सिंह, जिला खेल अधिकारी उधमसिंहनगर जानकी कार्की आदि मौजूद रहे।

बुधवार को खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्य ने खटीमा और चकरपुर में मलखंब आयोजन स्थलों का निरीक्षण भी किया। इस मौके पर उन्होंने प्रशिक्षण शिविर में भाग ले रहे उत्तराखंड के मलखंब खिलाड़ियों से कहा कि अगर वे मलखंब में अच्छा प्रदर्शन करके पदक जीतते है तो वें खुद उन्हें मेडल पहनाने के लिए आएंगी।
