नई कर व्यवस्था के तहत 12 लाख की आय तक शून्य आयकर लगेगा- वित्त मंत्री
टीडीएस में छूट की सीमा को 50 हजार से बढ़ाकर एक लाख रुपये किया जाएगा
नई दिल्ली। केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने शनिवार यानि आज लोकसभा में बजट पेश किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने मध्यम वर्ग को बड़ी राहत दी है। बता दें कि अब 12 लाख रुपये तक की आमदनी आयकर के दायरे से बाहर होगी। वित्त मंत्री ने प्रत्यक्ष कर पर बजट में कहा कि नए आयकर विधेयक में न्याय की भावना को प्रमुखता दी जाएगी।
कितने रुपये तक की कर योग्य आय पर अब नहीं देना होगा टैक्स?
वित्त मंत्री ने कहा कि 12 लाख रुपये तक की आमदनी पर अब कोई आयकर नहीं लगेगा। इसमें जब स्टैंडर्ड डिडक्शन भी जोड़ देंगे तो वेतनभोगी लोगों के लिए 12.75 लाख रुपये की करयोग्य आय पर कोई टैक्स नहीं लगेगा। वित्त मंत्री ने कहा है कि इस फैसले से मध्यम वर्ग पर करों को काफी हद तक कम करने में मदद मिलेगी। उनके पास अधिक पैसा छोड़ने, घरेलू खपत, बचत और निवेश बढ़ाने का मौका होगा।
वित्त मंत्री ने एलान किया है सभी करदाताओं को लाभ पहुंचाने के लिए आयकर स्लैब और दरों में बदलाव किया जा रहा है। वित्त मंत्री ने कहा है कि नई कर व्यवस्था के तहत 12 लाख की आय तक शून्य आयकर लगेगा। मध्यम वर्ग पर सरकार ने विशेष ध्यान दिया है और व्यक्तिगत आयकर प्रणाली में सुधार किया है।
टीडीएस पर वित्त मंत्री ने क्या एलान किया?
उन्होंने कहा कि टीडीएस की सीमा में बदलाव किए जाएंगे ताकि इसमें एकरूपता लाई जा सके। वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के लिए टीडीएस में छूट की सीमा को 50 हजार से बढ़ाकर एक लाख रुपये किया जाएगा। किराए से होने वाली आमदनी पर टीडीएस में छूट की सीमा को बढ़ाकर छह लाख रुपये किया जाएगा। वित्त मंत्री के अनुसार, नॉन-पैन मामलों में उच्च टीडीएस के प्रावधान लागू रहेंगे। अपडेटेड रिटर्न दाखिल करने की सीमा को दो साल से बढ़ाकर चार साल कर दिया है।
वित्त मंत्री के बजट 2024 के अनुसार पहले किसी करदाता की सालाना आय 7 लाख 75 हजार रुपये तो स्टैंडर्ड डिडक्शन के 75,000 रुपये घटाने के बाद उसकी आमदनी 7 लाख रुपये सालाना हो जाती थी। ऐसे में उसे कोई टैक्स नहीं देना पड़ता था। इसका मतलब है अगर किसी व्यक्ति का मासिक वेतन 64000 या 64500 रुपये के आसपास थी तो नई कर प्रणाली के तहत उसकी आमदनी टैक्स फ्री थी।
