डिस्ट्रिक्ट अर्ली इंटरवेंशन सेंटर (डी.ई. आई.सी.) में उच्च स्तरीय स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं निःशुल्क उपलब्ध
देहरादून। राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य मिशन के अंतर्गत संचालित राष्ट्रीय बाल स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम (आर.बी.एस.के.) एवं डिस्ट्रिक्ट अर्ली इंटरवेंशन सेंटर (डी ई. आई सी) के सुदृढ़ीकरण हेतु राज्य स्तरीय निगरानी समिति का गठन किया गया। समिति की प्रथम बैठक स्वाति एस. भदौरिया, मिशन निदेशक, एन. एच. एम. की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित की गई।
मिशन निदेशक द्वारा बताया गया कि कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत डी.ई. आई.सी. केंद्र के माध्यम से जन्मजात गंभीर हृदय रोग, न्यूरल ट्यूब डिफेक्ट, श्रवण बाधा, मोतियाबिंद, कटे होंठ और तालु, टेड़े पैर (क्लब फुट) और अन्य गंभीर बीमारियों का निःशुल्क इलाज किया जा रहा है। वित्तीय वर्ष 2024- 25 में वर्तमान तक डी.ई.आई.सी. केंद्र के माध्यम से लगभग 5,000 से अधिक बच्चों को चिकित्सा सेवाएं प्रदान की जा चुकी है।
कार्यक्रम के प्रभावी संचालन के लिए विभिन्न स्तरों पर कार्य किया जा रहा है। जिसमें आशा कार्यकर्ता जन्म से छह सप्ताह तक के बच्चों के घर जाकर, राज्य में 148 मोबाइल हेल्थ टीम आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों और सरकारी एवं सहायता प्राप्त विद्यालयों में जाकर 18 वर्ष तक के बच्चों का निरंतर स्वास्थ्य परिक्षण कर एवं बीमारी से ग्रसित बच्ची को उच्च चिकित्सा इकाई पर विशिष्ट उपचार के लिए संदर्भित कर रही हैं।
मिशन निदेशक द्वारा बताया गया कि कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत बच्चों की शीघ्र पहचान, उचित उपचार और जरूरत पड़ने पर उच्च स्तरीय चिकित्सा संस्थानों में रेफरल की व्यवस्था है। बच्चों की स्वास्थ्य जांच और उपचार के लिए जिला अस्पतालों में डिस्ट्रिक्ट अर्ली इंटरवेंशन केंद्र (डी ई.आई.सी.) स्थापित किए गए हैं। वर्तमान में देहरादून, हरिद्वार, अल्मोड़ा, ऊधमसिंहनगर और नैनीताल में डी.ई.आई.सी. केंद्र स्थापित है। इन केंद्रों पर बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ, फिजियोथेरेपिस्ट, मनोवैज्ञानिक, ऑडियोलॉजिस्ट, स्पीच थेरेपिस्ट और अन्य विशेषज्ञ उपलब्ध है, जो बच्चों की स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं का परीक्षण कर उन्हें उचित उपचार प्रदान करते हैं।
उच्च स्तरीय उपचार की आवश्यकता होने पर बच्चों का एम्स ऋषिकेश, दून मेडिकल कॉलेज देहरादून, श्रीराम मूर्ति मेडिकल कॉलेज बरेली, श्री सत्य साई संजीवनी हॉस्पिटल हरियाणा, मेडिटरीना हॉस्पिटल देहरादून, क्योर इंडिया देहरादून, मिशन स्माइल देहरादून, ग्राफिक एरा हॉस्पिटल देहरादून और सर्वोदय हॉस्पिटल फरीदाबाद जैसे प्रतिष्ठित चिकित्सा संस्थानों में निःशुल्क रेफर व इलाज किया जा रहा है।
कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत उपचार के बाद सामान्य जीवन जी रहे बच्चों का डी.ई.आई.सी. केंद्रों की टीम द्वारा निरंतर फॉलो-अप व जरूरत पड़ने पर पुनः चिकित्सा सहायता प्रदान की जा रही है। इलाज के बाद यह सुनिश्चित किया जा रहा है कि बच्चे पूरी तरह स्वस्थ हैं और उनकी शारीरिक व मानसिक वृद्धि सामान्य रूप से हो रही है।
मिशन निदेशक द्वारा सभी माता-पिता और अभिभावकों से अपील करते हुए कहा कि यदि किसी बच्चे को जन्मजात रोग, शारीरिक विकार या अन्य स्वास्थ्य समस्याएं हैं, तो उनके परिजन बिना देर किए नजदीकी जिला अस्पताल या स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पर जाएं और निःशुल्क चिकित्सा सुविधा का लाभ उठाएं।
