12 जनवरी को सर्वे स्टेडियम में आयोजित होगी 10 किमी दौड़
सेना, आईटीबीपी,पुलिस समेत सैकड़ों स्थानीय नागरिक करेंगे दौड़ में प्रतिभाग
अलग-अलग 5 श्रेणियों में प्रथम द्वितीय और तृतीय पुरस्कार प्राप्त करने वाले कुल 15 विजेताओं को सम्मानित भी किया जाएगा
देहरादून। राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस के अवसर पर आगमी 12 जनवरी को मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी कार्यालय द्वारा देहरादून में 10 किमी रन का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इस आयोजन की खास बात यह है कि इस दौड़ में भारतीय सेना, इंडो-तिब्बत बॉर्डर पुलिस (आईटीबीपी), उत्तराखण्ड पुलिस, सचिवालय एथलेटिक क्लब समेत बड़ी संख्या में स्थानीय नागरिक प्रतिभाग कर रहे हैं।
इस आयोजन की थीम स्वस्थ मतदाता- स्वस्थ लोकतंत्र रखी गई है। 10 किमी दौड़ का आयोजन हाथीबड़कला स्थित सर्वे ऑफ इंडिया स्टेडियम से किया जाएगा। सर्वे स्टेडियम से न्यू कैंट रोड होते हुए प्रतिभागी राज भवन के सामने से महिंद्रा ग्राउंड के लिए जाएंगे। यहां से महिंद्रा ग्राउंड से पूरा राउंड लेने के बाद वापस सर्वे स्टेडियम के लिए प्रतिभागी 10 किलोमीटर की दौड़ पूरी कर सकेंगे।
अपर मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी डॉ विजय कुमार जोगदंगडे ने बताया राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस के अवसर पर आएगी इस दौड़ का उद्देश्य प्रदेश के सम्मानित नागरिकों को मताधिकार के प्रति जागरूकत करना है। उन्होंने बताया कि इस दौड़ में प्रतिभाग करने वाले प्रतिभागियों के लिए अलग-अलग कैटेगरी बनाई गई है जिसके तहत अलग-अलग 5 श्रेणियों में प्रथम द्वितीय और तृतीय पुरस्कार प्राप्त करने वाले कल 15 विजेताओं को सम्मानित भी किया जाएगा।
अब तक 600 रजिस्ट्रेशन
अपर मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी डॉ विजय कुमार जोगदंगडे ने बताया कि 10 किमी दौड़ के लिए अबतक करीब 600 रजिस्ट्रेशन प्राप्त हो चुके हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि 18 वर्ष से अधिक उम्र के युवा इस दौड़ में शामिल हो सकते हैं। रजिस्ट्रेशन का आखिरी तारीख 8 जनवरी रखी गई है।
