देहरादून। उत्तराखंड में नए साल का स्वागत बड़े ही धूम- धाम के साथ किया गया। एक ओर जहां पर्यटकों की भारी भीड़ नए साल के लिए उत्तराखंड पहुंची थी, वहीं पर्यटकों के अच्छे स्वागत के लिए उत्तराखंड ने भी पूरी तैयारी की थी। इन तैयारियों के साथ ही प्रदेशवासी जाम छलकाने में भी पीछे नहीं रहे। साल के अंतिम दिन 14 करोड़ रुपये से ज्यादा की शराब पी गई। आबकारी महकमे को अंतिम जो राजस्व मिला वह आम दिनों की तुलना में लगभग दोगुने से भी ज्यादा रहा। इसमें सबसे ज्यादा राजस्व देहरादून और नैनीताल से मिला। इनकी भागीदारी कुल राजस्व में आधे से ज्यादा की रही।

देसी शराब- 11206 पेटियां
इस साल प्रवर्तन की कार्रवाई सख्त रही। यही कारण था कि इस बार पिछले साल की तुलना में वन डे बार लाइसेंस भी दोगुने जारी किए गए। शराब बिक्री के मामले में भी महकमे को पहले से अधिक एक दिन में राजस्व प्राप्त हुआ है।
