देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने गुरूवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास में 17वें कृषि विज्ञान सम्मेलन एवं कृषि प्रदर्शनी के ब्रोशर और पोस्टर का विमोचन किया। यह कृषि महाकुंभ 20 फरवरी से 22 फरवरी 2025 को गोविंद बल्लभ पंत कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, पंतनगर में प्रस्तावित है जो कि राष्ट्रीय कृषि विज्ञान अकादमी एवं गोविंद बल्लभ पंत कृषि विश्वविद्यालय के द्वारा संयुक्त रूप आयोजित किया जा रहा है।
इस अवसर पर गोविंद बल्लभ पंत कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, पंतनगर के कुलपति प्रो. एमएस चौहान ने बताया कि 17वें कृषि विज्ञान सम्मेलन में 50 से अधिक देशों के 04 हजार से अधिक प्रतिनिधि शामिल होंगे। सम्मेलन में पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों की कृषि में नवाचार, कृषि क्षेत्र में युवा पेशेवरों को बढ़ावा देने, डिजिटल एग्रीकल्चर, जलवायु परिवर्तन, स्मार्ट लाइवस्टॉक फार्मिंग जैसे विषय पर पैनल चर्चा की जाएगी। साथ ही विज्ञान में नई खोज के लिए गुणवत्तापरक शिक्षा, मधुमक्खी पालन की संभावनाएं, गरीबी और कुपोषण से मुक्ति के लिए नए उपाय जैसे विषयों पर सेमिनार का भी आयोजन किया जाएगा। इस अवसर पर एक कृषि प्रौद्योगिकी प्रदर्शनी भी आयोजित की जाएगी जिसमें देश विदेश के 200 से अधिक संस्थान भाग लेंगे।
इस मौके पर महानिदेशक यूकॉस्ट प्रो. दुर्गेश पंत, पंत नगर विवि के निदेशक शोध प्रो. अजित सिंह, संयुक्त निदेशक डॉ अनिल कुमार मौजूद थे।
