देहरादून: जिला प्रशासन की संवेदनशील पहल और हेल्पिंग हैंड चिकित्सालय के सहयोग से असहाय राजू का उपचार सफल हो गया है। अब वह पूरी तरह स्वस्थ है और उसकी ड्रेसिंग चल रही है।
मामला कैसे पहुंचा डीएम तक
पिछले माह कलेक्ट्रेट परिसर में अचानक असहाय राजू पहुँचा। उसका एक हाथ गंभीर रूप से जल चुका था। राजू ने डीएम सविन बंसल को बताया कि वह होटल में मजदूरी करता है और चमोली में गर्म पानी से उसका हाथ बुरी तरह झुलस गया। आर्थिक तंगी के कारण इलाज नहीं कर पा रहा और दून अस्पताल ने उसे हायर सेंटर रेफर कर दिया था।

जिलाधिकारी ने उसकी व्यथा सुनी और तुरंत बर्न स्पेशलिस्ट अस्पताल से संपर्क किया। सहस्रधारा आईटी पार्क स्थित हेल्पिंग हैंड हॉस्पिटल के डॉ. कुश ने राजू को तत्काल भर्ती करने की सहमति दी। प्रशासन ने अपने ‘सारथी वाहन’ से राजू को अस्पताल पहुँचाया और उसका निःशुल्क ऑपरेशन कराया।
प्रशासन की लगातार मॉनिटरिंग
डीएम सविन बंसल स्वयं राजू के उपचार की मॉनिटरिंग कर रहे थे। जिला प्रशासन की टीम लगातार अस्पताल जाकर हालचाल लेती रही। राजू के सफल इलाज पर डीएम ने अस्पताल प्रबंधन और चिकित्सकों का आभार जताया।
पुनर्वास की तैयारी
राजू अब स्वस्थ है और जिला प्रशासन ने उसके पुनर्वास की तैयारी भी शुरू कर दी है। संबंधित अधिकारियों को इसके निर्देश दे दिए गए हैं, ताकि राजू को भविष्य में भी सहारा मिल सके।
