श्रीनगर (पौड़ी): गढ़वाल राइफल्स में तैनात एक 26 वर्षीय जवान की अचानक हार्ट अटैक से मौत हो गई। जवान की पहचान लोकेंद्र प्रताप, पुत्र भगत सिंह, निवासी गांव कटाखोली (पोस्ट नवाखाल), श्रीनगर पौड़ी के रूप में हुई है। दुखद बात यह है कि लोकेंद्र की शादी को अभी एक महीना भी नहीं बीता था।
जानकारी के अनुसार, लोकेंद्र प्रताप आठ साल पहले सेना में भर्ती हुए थे और हाल ही में गब्बर सिंह कैंप कौड़िया में ट्रेनिंग पर पहुंचे थे। परिजनों के मुताबिक, उन्होंने रात करीब 11:30 बजे तक घरवालों से बातचीत की थी और सब कुछ सामान्य लग रहा था।
लेकिन अगली सुबह जब साथी जवान उन्हें उठाने पहुंचे तो सुबह 4:30 बजे वे अचेत अवस्था में पाए गए। उन्हें तुरंत सेना के अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया। प्रारंभिक रिपोर्ट में मौत का कारण हार्ट अटैक बताया गया है।
शोक में डूबा परिवार:
लोकेंद्र की मौत की खबर मिलते ही गांव में मातम छा गया। जिस घर में कुछ दिन पहले तक शादी की खुशियां मनाई जा रही थीं, वहां अब रोने की आवाजें सुनाई दे रही हैं। परिजनों के अनुसार, लोकेंद्र मिलनसार और जिम्मेदार युवक था, और उसका सपना देशसेवा करना था।

सेना की ओर से लोकेंद्र को पूरे सैन्य सम्मान के साथ अंतिम विदाई दी जाएगी। स्थानीय प्रशासन और ग्रामीणों ने भी गहरा दुख प्रकट किया है।
