मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने दिखाई हरी झंडी, कुशीनगर में होगा भगवान सूर्य का जलाभिषेक
देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शुक्रवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास से कुशीनगर में भगवान सूर्य की मूर्ति के जलाभिषेक के लिए पवित्र नदियों के जल से भरी कलश यात्रा को रवाना किया।
कुशीनगर में भगवान सूर्य की मूर्ति का जलाभिषेक करने के लिए देशभर की करीब 151 पवित्र नदियों से जल एकत्र किया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में उत्तराखंड की गंगा, यमुना, अलकनंदा, मंदाकिनी सहित अन्य नदियों का जल लेकर यह कलश यात्रा देवभूमि से रवाना हुई।
इस मौके पर महामंडलेश्वर श्री 1008 डॉ. स्वा. संतोषानंद देव जी महाराज, पूर्वांचल महोत्सव समिति के अध्यक्ष विनय राय और समिति के अन्य सदस्य उपस्थित रहे।
