सिंधु जल संधि पर भारत का निर्णायक रुख, पाकिस्तान को अब नहीं मिलेगा पानी
नई दिल्ली। जम्मू-कश्मीर के पहलगाम में हाल ही में हुए आतंकी हमले के बाद भारत ने पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ अपनी रणनीति में बड़ा बदलाव करते हुए सिंधु जल संधि पर दोटूक रुख अपनाया है। केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने स्पष्ट कर दिया है कि पाकिस्तान की हरकतों के चलते अब इस ऐतिहासिक संधि की बहाली संभव नहीं है।
गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा कि पाकिस्तान की आतंकवाद समर्थक नीति और शांति प्रयासों की अनदेखी को देखते हुए भारत ने सिंधु जल संधि को निलंबित किया है। उन्होंने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि भारत अपने अधिकार क्षेत्र के पानी को अब पूरी तरह उपयोग करेगा और यह जल अब राजस्थान जैसे जल-संकटग्रस्त राज्यों के खेतों तक पहुंचेगा। शाह ने बताया कि केंद्र सरकार इस उद्देश्य से विशेष नहर परियोजना पर काम शुरू कर रही है।
पहलगाम हमले में 26 लोगों की मौत के बाद भारत ने इसे सीधे तौर पर पाकिस्तान प्रायोजित आतंक करार दिया था। शाह ने कहा कि यह हमला कश्मीर में अमन को बाधित करने की साजिश थी, लेकिन घाटी की जनता ने आतंक के खिलाफ एकजुट होकर जवाब दिया। इसके बाद भारत ने पाकिस्तान के आतंकी ठिकानों पर जवाबी हमले भी किए।
साल 1960 की सिंधु जल संधि के तहत भारत की सिंधु, झेलम और चेनाब नदियों का 80 फीसदी पानी पाकिस्तान को जाता रहा है, लेकिन अब भारत ने इस व्यवस्था पर पुनर्विचार करते हुए साफ कर दिया है कि आतंक के साए में यह समझौता नहीं चल सकता।
शाह ने दोहराया कि आतंक और वार्ता एक साथ नहीं चल सकतीं। भारत ने अपने निर्णय से यह स्पष्ट कर दिया है कि वह अब रणनीतिक संसाधनों को भी राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा के हित में इस्तेमाल करेगा। पाकिस्तान अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंचों पर कुछ भी कहे, लेकिन भारत की नीति अब निर्णायक है—जो केवल जवाब नहीं, स्थायी हल की ओर बढ़ रही है।
