खेल मंत्री ने किया 15वीं नेशनल ताइक्वांडो चैंपियनशिप का उद्घाटन
विभिन्न राज्यों के 300 से ज्यादा खिलाड़ी हो रहे शामिल
देहरादून। खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने शनिवार को परेड ग्राउंड के मल्टीपरपज हॉल में 15वीं नेशनल ताइक्वांडो चैंपियनशिप का शुभारंभ किया। उत्तराखंड स्पोर्ट्स ताइक्वांडो एसोसिएशन की और से आयोजित प्रतियोगिता में देश के विभिन्न राज्यों से आए 300 से ज्यादा खिलाड़ी शिरकत कर रहे हैं।
इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि हम सभी को स्पोर्ट्स को अपने जीवन शैली का हिस्सा बनना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि अगर आप अपने जीवन में एक स्पोर्ट्स कार्ड बना लेते हैं तो हेल्थ कार्ड, आयुष्मान कार्ड और गोल्डन कार्ड जैसे तमाम हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस कार्डों की जरूरत कम से कम पड़ेगी। खेल मंत्री ने कहा कि स्पोर्ट्स कार्ड से उनका अर्थ यह है कि अपने दिनचर्या में रोजाना कम से कम 1 घंटा किसी एक फील्ड गेम को देना शुरू करें। खेल मंत्री ने कहा कि ताइक्वांडो जैसा खेल लड़कियों के कैरियर और स्वास्थ्य के साथ-साथ उनकी आत्मरक्षा के लिए भी जरूरी है।
रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि ताइक्वांडो में 38 राष्ट्रीय खेलों के दौरान भी उत्तराखंड के खिलाड़ियों ने उल्लेखनीय प्रदर्शन किया था और धीरे-धीरे उत्तराखंड इस खेल का हब बनता जा रहा है।
आयोजक संगठन के अध्यक्ष और पूर्व राज्यपाल भगत सिंह कोश्यारी ने कहा कि खेल हमें टीम भावना सिखाते हैं इसलिए हर युवा को किसी न किसी खेल से जुड़ने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। इस अवसर पर विभिन्न राज्यों के ताइक्वांडो टीमों ने कई हैरान करने वाले कर्तव्य भी दिखाएं।
खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या और भगत सिंह कोश्यारी ने इसके पहले प्रतियोगिता की टीशर्ट का भी लोकार्पण किया।
इस अवसर पर उद्योगपति एस फारूक, जावेद खान, हिना हबीब व खिलाडी आदि उपस्थित रहे।
सचिवालय बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता का शुभारंभ
शनिवार को खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने सचिवालय बैडमिंटन क्लब द्वारा आयोजित वार्षिक बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता 2025 का मल्टी परपज हॉल परेड ग्राउंड में उद्घाटन किया। इस दौरान खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने भी बैडमिंटन में हाथ आजमाएं और कई तीखे शाट लगाकर खिलाड़ियों को चकित कर दिया।
उद्घाटन अवसर पर खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि सचिवालय कर्मचारी जिस तरह साल भर कई तरह की खेल प्रतियोगिता की आयोजित करते हैं वह अन्य विभागों के लिए भी एक उदाहरण बनना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि स्पोर्ट्स लिगसी प्रोग्राम में प्रदेश सरकार हर आयु वर्ग के आम लोगों को खेलों से जोड़ने की योजना बना रही है, जिससे फिट उत्तराखंड के सपने को साकार किया जा सके।
खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि सचिवालय कर्मचारियों द्वारा आयोजित यह खेल प्रतियोगिताएं इसमें अहम कड़ी साबित होगी।
इस अवसर पर खेल निदेशक प्रशांत आर्या, सचिवालय बैडमिंटन क्लब अध्यक्ष पन्नालाल शुक्ला, उपाध्यक्ष महावीर सिंह चौहान, प्रमोद कुमार, जेपी मैखुरी आदि उपस्थित रहे।
