देहरादून। प्रदेश में मलिन बस्तियों में निवासरत जरूरतमंदों के पुर्नवास हेतु चरणबद्ध कार्ययोजना पर प्रभावी पहल के निर्देश दिए हैं।
मुख्य सचिव आनन्द बर्द्धन ने पहले चरण में शहरी विकास विभाग एवं नगर निगम को देहरादून की मलिन बस्तियों के पुर्नवास के ठोस एवं प्रभावी वर्किंग प्लान पर तत्काल कार्य करने की हिदायत दी है। इसके साथ ही मुख्य सचिव आनन्द बर्द्धन ने सिंचाई विभाग को रिस्पना एवं बिन्दाल नदियों के पुनर्जीवीकरण की स्थिति पर अपडेट देने के साथ वर्किंग प्लान पर तत्परता से कार्य करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
मुख्य सचिव आनन्द बर्द्धन गुरुवार को शहरी विकास एवं सिंचाई विभाग सहित विभिन्न विभागों के साथ मलिन बस्तियों की स्थिति एवं रिस्पना व बिन्दाल के पुनर्जीवीकरण पर समीक्षा कर रहे थे। मुख्य सचिव ने शहरी विकास विभाग को मलिन बस्तियों की सूचना, चिन्हीकरण की अद्यतन स्थिति, निवासरत लोगों की सूची पर अपडेट तैयार करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। मुख्य सचिव ने वांछित सूचना प्राप्ति के बाद मलिन बस्तियों के पुनर्वास एवं पुनर्व्यवस्थापन की प्रभावी कार्ययोजना पर कार्य करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। सीएस ने अधिकारियों को स्लम फ्री उत्तराखण्ड के विजन के साथ कार्य करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
मुख्य सचिव ने निर्देश दिए हैं कि मलिन बस्तियों में रहने वाले परिवारों के जीवन स्तर में सुधार, पुनर्वास एवं पुनरूद्धार पर शीर्ष प्राथमिकता पर कार्य किया जाना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि मलिन बस्तियों के विषय को सामाजिक समस्या की तरह देखा जाना चाहिए तथा इस पर पूर्ण संवेदनशीलता एवं मानवीयता से कार्य किया जाना चाहिए।
बैठक में प्रमुख सचिव वन, सचिव शहरी विकास, सिंचाई, स्वास्थ्य, सहित सम्बन्धित विभागों के अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
