जंगल से फैली आग की चपेट में आए मकान
वन आरक्षियों के कार्य बहिष्कार के चलते बढ़ी चुनौती
देहरादून। त्यूणी में रडू गांव के खेड़ा रूपाहा में भीषण आग लगने से तीन परिवारों के मकान जलकर राख हो गए। गनीमत ये रही जिस वक्त मकानों में आग लगी परिवार के लोग खेती-बागवानी के काम से बगीचे में गए हुए थे। बताया जा रहा है कि पास के जंगल से फैली आग की चपेट में आने से ग्रामीणों के लकड़ी से निर्मित दो मंजिला आवासीय भवनों ने आग पकड़ ली। तहसीलदार ने क्षेत्रीय पटवारी से घटना की जांच रिपोर्ट मांगी है।
त्यूणी तहसील के सीमांत रडू पंचायत के खेड़ा रूपाहा में कई ग्रामीण परिवारों की आवासीय छानी हैं। यह छानियां उनकी कृषि भूमि व सेब के बगीचों में बनाई गई हैं। घटनाक्रम के मुताबिक जंगल में लगी आग ने स्थानीय निवासी उदय सिंह की लकड़ी से बनी दो मंजिला छानी को चपेट में ले लिया। इसके बाद उनके आसपास स्थित सुरेंद्र व जसरी देवी की छानियों ने भी आग पकड़ ली।
घटना के समय सभी प्रभावित परिवारों के सदस्य अपने खेतों में काम कर रहे थे। उधर आग लगने की जानकारी मिलते ही काफी संख्या में स्थानीय निवासी मौके पर एकत्रित होकर आग को बुझाने का प्रयास करते रहे लेकिन उन्हें कामयाबी नहीं मिल सकी। घटना में तीनों परिवारों की छानी और उसमें रखा घर का सारा सामान जलकर राख हो गया। बेघर हुए परिवारों ने शासन प्रशासन से आर्थिक मदद की मांग की है। तहसीलदार सुशीला कोठियाल ने संबंधित राजस्व निरीक्षक व क्षेत्रीय राजस्व उप निरीक्षक से नुकसान की जांच रिपोर्ट जल्द देने को कहा है।
जंगल की आग के दृष्टिगत शनिवार से वन महकमे में फायर सीजन शुरू हो गया है। वन विभाग के अनुसार पिछले साल नवंबर से लेकर अब तक जंगल में आग लगने की 20 घटनाएं हो चुकी हैं।
इसमें 39 हेक्टेयर से अधिक क्षेत्रफल में वन संपदा प्रभावित हुई है। इस बार वन विभाग ने जंगल की आग के नियंत्रण के लिए कई कदम उठाने का दावा किया है। वही, वन आरक्षियों के कार्य बहिष्कार के चलते चुनौती बढ़ गई है। वन आरक्षी मांगों को लेकर कई दिनों से कार्य बहिष्कार पर हैं।
