सीमांत क्षेत्रों में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने की पहल
देहरादून। उत्तराखण्ड पर्यटन विकास बोर्ड एवं भारत-तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस बल के मध्य उत्तराखण्ड में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के बीच करार किया गया। मुख्य सचिव राधा रतूड़ी ने जानकारी दी कि भारत सरकार के फ्लैगशिप प्रोजेक्ट वाईब्रेंट विलेज प्रोग्राम के तहत सीमावर्ती क्षेत्र के गाँवो के सर्वांगीण विकास को प्राथमिकता दी गई है ।
ग्रामीणों की आजीविका हेतु संसाधन उपलब्ध कराना भी मुख्य उद्धेश्य है। उत्तराखण्ड पर्यटन विकास बोर्ड द्वारा सीमांत क्षेत्र में पर्यटन को बढावा देने हेतु सीमांत क्षेत्र में हेली सेवाओं का विस्तार किया जा रहा है।
उत्तराखण्ड के सीमांत क्षेत्र में प्रसिद्ध धार्मिक पर्यटन स्थल जैसे कि आदि कैलाश, ओम पर्वत, तिम्मरसैंण महादेव इत्यादि स्थित हैं जहाँ दुर्गम रास्तों के कारण पर्यटकों को पहुँचने में असुविधा होती है।
इन सभी को ध्यान में रखते हुए उत्तराखण्ड सरकार द्वारा पर्यटकों को हैली सुविधा उपलब्ध करवाने का निर्णय लिया गया है। जिसमें भारत-तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस बल के कार्यक्षेत्र में उपलब्ध हैलीपैडों का उपयोग किया जाएगा। इसके अतिरिक्त वाईब्रेंट विलेज में रहने वाले ग्रामीणों को आपातकालीन चिकित्सा की आवश्यकता पड़ने पर दवाईयाँ उपलब्ध करवाने एवं हेली द्वारा हायर सेंटर ले जाने हेतु भी इन हेलीपैड का उपयोग किया जाएगा। उत्तराखण्ड में तीन सीमांत जनपदों (उत्तरकाशी, चमोली, पिथौरागढ़) में भारत तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस बल की अग्रिम चौकियों में तैनाती है।
इस अवसर पर सचिव सचिन कुर्वे, संजय गुंज्याल महानिरीक्षक, उत्तरी सीमांत, भारत-तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस बल, एवं उत्तराखण्ड पर्यटन विकास बोर्ड एवं आईटीबीपी के अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
